Through the Friends of the McCallum Fine Arts Academy local arts patrons, Patrick and Lorelei McDevitt, have donated a $3,000 German made cello to the McCallum Orchestra.  Last week, Cari Clark who is the Chair of the Friends of the Academy, informed Orchestra Director Ricky Pringle about the donation and he was very pleased.  The McDevitts have requested that a deserving student at McCallum be given the cello to use as their own instrument while they are a student at McCallum.

The McDevitts will received a tax receipt for their in-kind donation.  If you are interested in donating an instrument to the McCallum Fine Arts Academy or to the Lamar Middle School Fine Arts Academy.  Please contact Cari Clark at: cariclarkhomes@austin.rr.com
